The intraoral digital scanner scans the patients teeth and sends the data to a computer, which combines the images to prepare 3-dimensional visualization. The majority of digital impressions using an intraoral scanner can be completed in just a few minutes. With the innovative Smart Pixel Sensor and the dynamic depth scan technology for perfect sharpness, even in up to 20mm depth.
These impressions are used to fabricate custom dental restorations such as porcelain veneers and crowns. Because sampling is done with a digital scanner, there is no need to put impression material in your mouth, which is often an uncomfortable feeling.
